In preparation for the upcoming Spring 2019 Career Fair, two etiquette classes were hosted by the Construction Management Student Organization.
On Thursday January 24, Professor Anthony Mirando invited upper classman and the new College of Architecture and Environmental Design Career Advisor, Allison Smolinski, to present to the Intro to Construction Management Class. Allison led the discussion by teaching students how the career fair runs, what to bring, how to dress, how to structure a resume, and how to comfortably approach professionals in the work place.
On Monday January 28, the Student Organization led a late-night session that provided one-on-one experience for resume help and any other questions students had.
The Career Fair kicks off on Friday Februay 1 at 8:30am with a networking breakfast sponsored by the AGC of Akron.
